The team are very proud to be back with a re-designed Bluebird Electric at Pendine. Don Wales, grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell and nephew of Donald Campbell, will be attempting to break the UK Electric Vehicle Land Speed Record and to find how close he is to becoming the holder of the World Land Speed Record for EVs.

It's been a busy weekend down on Pendine Sands for Bluebird Team Racing, the dedicated band of men and women whose job it will be to ensure the smooth running of Bluebird Electric's forthcoming assault on the UK record.

Bluebird has been a star attraction at the launch of the BARC/West Wales TEC Kart Challenge at Pembrey Race Circuit. The competition gives schools and colleges the chance to design build and race their own electric powered go-kart.
