A great deal of work has been put into the car for this Autumn's trials including an improved aerodynamics and a lighter, stronger chassis. The re-engineered Bluebird will be presented to the public and media on the 25th September - the 75th Anniversary of Sir Malcolm Campbell's very first World Land Speed Record.
Therefore, supporters of Bluebird can look forward to three big events this autumn.
The 1920's theme evening will be an opportunity for guests to meet some of the Campbell family, including Don Wales, driver of the current Bluebird.
Tickets are £100 per person and can be booked here.
The one day event, which is being organised by The Electric Vehicle Association in conjunction with The Bluebird Electric Project, is aimed at anyone who has an interest in the development and implementation of EV technology in the UK.
A varying range of speakers will be giving papers on topics from Infrastructure to Fuel Cells. A full listing of speakers and topics is available on application.
For further information and Tickets (£50 per person) apply here.
The event is free to all members of the public.
